The 1st Japan-Korea Superconductivity Summer School (JKSSS 2015)

It is our pleasure to announce the 1st Japan-Korea Superconductivity Summer School (JKSSS 2015) which will be held between Aug. 19 and Aug. 21 at Kyushu University Ito-Campus, Fukuoka, Japan. This summer school is organized by the Cryogenics and Superconductivity Society of Japan (CSSJ) in collaboration with the Korea Institute of Applied Superconductivity and Cryogenics (KIASC), and supported by the IEEE Council on Superconductivity (CSC). Purpose of this summer school is to educate students and young researchers, and enhance mutual exchange between Japan and Korea superconductivity community. The program is composed of 6 lectures and two special talks which will cover fundamental electromagnetic issue, materials processing, power applications and cryogenics. The lecturers are all well-known researchers in this field. An interchange session to introduce attendeefs research activities and a factory tour to the TOYOTA Motor Kyushu, Inc. are also allocated. Graduate course students and young researchers in the superconductivity area are very much welcomed. It would be also a good chance for regular members to form an international network between Japan and Korea. Those who are interested in the attendance, please send us the registration sheet attached in our web-site. Note that we may close applications if the registration reaches 50 to keep in-depth discussion in the lectures.

We are looking forward to seeing you at Fukuoka, this summer.
